On May 19th and 21st, Biocompounds Pharmaceutical Inc. successively received drug registration certificates from the National Medical Products Administration for vonoprazan fumarate tablets and measartan potassium tablets.

Vonoprazan fumarate belongs to a new class of potassium-competitive acid blockers (P-CABs), possessing a strong and long-lasting inhibitory effect on gastric acid secretion, and can be widely used to treat gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, and reflux esophagitis. The newly approved vonoprazan fumarate tablets are available in 10mg and 20mg strengths, precisely matching the individualized medication needs of patients at different stages of disease, helping clinicians flexibly adjust dosages, reducing medication waste, and lowering treatment costs.

Measartan potassium tablets, as a prodrug of angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), have a scientifically sound and ingenious pharmacological mechanism. After oral administration, the drug is rapidly hydrolyzed in the body to the active ingredient azilsartan (TAK-536), achieving a stable and potent antihypertensive effect by precisely blocking the pathogenic effects of angiotensin II. This product further enriches Jianfeng Pharmaceutical's product portfolio in the field of blood pressure reduction, providing a more comprehensive and competitive solution for the future clinical treatment of hypertension.

Previously, Biocompounds Pharmaceutical Inc. obtained the marketing authorization notice for its vonoprazan fumarate active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) in August 2025; Anhui Bocompounds Pharmaceutical Company also recently passed the pre-market GMP compliance inspection for this API and obtained the drug export sales certificate, creating favorable conditions for Bocompounds Pharmaceutical products to enter the international market.
