This open class was tailored to the production characteristics of the hazardous-chemical industry, combining relevance with practicality. The instructor focused on control of major hazard sources, day-to-day hidden-hazard identification and remediation, approval and control of special operations, process and equipment change management, and emergency response to incidents, further specifying safety duties for each post, clarifying the red lines of operations management, and strictly prohibiting high-risk behaviors such as on-site illegal command, illegal operations, and violations of labor discipline. Drawing on industry accident cases, the instructor also gave an in-depth analysis of the underlying causes of the "Oct 27" relatively serious poisoning and asphyxiation accident at Chizhou Dongzhi Xintai New Materials and the "May 27" extraordinarily serious explosion accident at Shandong Youdao Chemical, pointing out management failings such as inadequate implementation of responsibilities, superficial risk identification, missing special-operations controls, and reckless rescue attempts. At the same time, all staff were organized to watch safety warning-education videos, using real cases to sound the alarm on safety and guiding everyone to abandon the mentality of relying on luck.
