To further strengthen major-hazard-source safety-control and raise the emergency teams' rescue and coordinated-response capability, on the afternoon of August 25, Anhui Biocompounds Chemicals Co., Ltd organized a special emergency drill for the monomethylamine cylinder-explosion major hazard source at Warehouse 101.

Monomethylamine is a flammable, toxic, high-risk hazardous chemical that can easily trigger explosions and personnel poisoning/burn accidents, and is a major hazard source under the enterprise's key control. This drill focused on the core safety hazards of Warehouse 101 and its surrounding 100-meter emergency zone, stayed close to the plant's actual production, and was carried out in strict accordance with the special plan—from hazard discovery, early-warning reporting, and emergency activation through to the full conclusion of handling, lasting 10 minutes and 35 seconds in total. Each emergency team responded swiftly and cooperated closely, efficiently completing all emergency-handling tasks; the overall handling process was standardized with smooth coordination, and the set drill objectives were successfully achieved.
